We choose few materials and use them for a long time. These three appear in most of our recent projects, each tested on site before it reaches a drawing.

01 / Pale Oak

Pale oak architectural slats

Used for ceilings, slatted screens and built-in furniture. We specify certified timber with an oiled finish, so surfaces can be repaired locally instead of replaced. In Casa Horizonte it filters the afternoon sun along the garden facade.

02 / Travertine

Travertine and limestone surfaces

A dense, porous stone that stays cool in the heat of central Brazil. We use it unfilled on floors and benches, where its texture improves grip and its colour hides the red dust of the dry season.

03 / Brushed Steel

Brushed steel architectural finish

Thin steel profiles for frames, handrails and joinery details. A brushed finish softens reflections and ages evenly, which lets us keep structural elements visible instead of covering them.
