Cerrado Studio designs houses, small cultural buildings and interiors shaped by climate.
Founded in Goiânia in 2014 by Marta Siqueira and Paulo Andrade, the practice is named after the savanna of central Brazil, a landscape of strong sun, long dry seasons and sudden rain. Designing for that climate is the starting point of every project.
Our team of eleven architects and designers works from first sketch to construction supervision. We prefer a small number of materials, deep shade, cross ventilation and details that can be repaired by local builders.
